If you follow our page, you’ve already heard AGC of Washington has great benefits for its members — from training to retirement options, there’s a lot here. But did you know that being a member can also be a lot of fun?
Take a minute to browse our events calendar to see what he have cooking this summer. Do you like hitting the links at local golf courses? We have an event for that. Barbecues? Yep. Looking for a way to give back through acts of service? You’ve got it. Our online calendar has listings through the end of this year and can be found here.
Our more light-hearted events are just one part of our approach to making community among our AGC members. As an advocacy group, we promote our trades not only through political organizing and job-related services, but also through networking and other relationship-building activities.
Right now, we have a Jean Drive going on. This great event is benefiting our Washington youth in foster care through the gift of durable clothing. The drive started in June and will last through late August. True to its name, we’re looking either for donations of jeans or monetary contributions directly to Treehouse, a nonprofit in the field. Take a look at our website for more information.
We’re also getting the word out about our BIG event for 2018, a lakeside luau on the AGC waterfront overlooking South Lake Union. This party is set for July 20 and should be a blast, so register for it today.
From the worksite to the weekend, AGC of Washington is here to help its members succeed. Want to learn more about getting involved? Check out our website or give us a call.
