Effective January 1, 2024, Washington employers with commercial construction workers are required to comply with new regulations governing paid sick leave. Notably, Washington’s paid sick leave (PSL) law mandates that covered workers who leave their job before completing 90 days of employment must receive payment for any accumulated but unused paid sick time.
