OSHA has released its long-awaited Confined Spaces in Construction rule. While the rule does not address the multiple types of confined spaces as in the proposal, there still might be some changes you will want to address in your existing safety programs. The rule goes into effect Aug. 3, 2015, within OSHA’s jurisdiction, and Washington state will have six months to adopt similar or more-stringent language.
