Join us on March 12 for AGC-WSDOT Partnering and Conflict-Resolution Training

On March 12, 2018, at 8 am The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), in conjunction with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Washington and RHA, LLC, will provide Partnering and Conflict Resolution training to WSDOT staff and contractor personnel involved in the administration of construction contracts.

The concept of partnering on construction projects has been around for over 30 years and embraces the principles of:

• Trust and open communication
• All parties addressing and resolving issues and problems promptly
• All parties striving to develop solutions to meet the needs of everyone involved (a win-win approach)
• All parties identify common goals for the partnership while respecting each other’s goals and values
• Partners seek input from one another to find better solutions and erase problems that arise.

Embracing these Partnering principles can help reduce conflict and disputes involving construction contracts, ultimately saving time and money.
