You’re never too old to learn something new.
That’s our philosophy toward life and the mindset behind the AGC Education Foundation. Created in 1980 by AGC of Washington, the foundation is tasked with fostering a lifelong learning mentality among members of the construction industry. Specifically, it promotes education and training geared toward every level of industry involvement, ranging from K-12 classes to current construction employees.
There’s a lot of great information about the foundation on its website, which also hosts a full schedule of upcoming courses. The programs you’ll find there are of a quality unmatched by any other outlet. You can browse through our offerings by subject, or just scroll through the calendar to view some of the highlights.
Classes taught by qualified construction professionals run year-round and are offered through district offices in Seattle, Fife, Bellingham and Yakima. We offer scholarships each year to promising students and through generous gifts, provide grants to worthy projects throughout our communities.
The AGC Education Foundation carries out its mission in the hopes of promoting our industry to future generations. Please visit the foundation’s website if you’re interested in making a donation to its various programs, or if you’d like more information on our courses, please contact Dan Morris, Director of Education and Training, at dmorris@agcwa.com.
Employees of our AGC member companies receive scholarships to all of our classes, as do AGC Young Constructor members. So what are you waiting for? Sign up today to continue your lifelong education.
