Looking to the New Year, together

A new year is right on the horizon.

Looking back on the year that was, we can say our industry has done well: Construction employment is up, wages are on the rise, and new starts are trending positive.

But as with all good things, our successes didn’t come for free, and they won’t last without a lot of work from dedicated people. As it goes on a jobsite, advocacy goes best when everyone pulls together.

That’s the beauty of AGC of Washington. This diverse coalition of more than 600 member companies is more than just the sum of its parts. The strength of all of us pulling together has made real progress toward our goals and a better climate for the work we share.

We regularly host events for the purpose of getting to know each other better, and as we move through the holiday season, we hope to see each of you at a reception or get-together. We also hope you took advantage of our discount for early membership renewal to get even more back as a dues-paying member of our association.

If the holidays are for reflection and the New Year is a fresh start, we can say we’re truly thankful to share this journey with our members and look forward to doing so for many years to come. Let’s close out 2018 on the right note and make 2019 the best one yet.
