Construction professionals should be aware of plans for much stiffer fines stemming from certain safety violations beginning in 2017. Now that it has the authority to raise fines, OSHA is finalizing rulemaking and is expected to raise fines by about 82 percent. AGC is protesting the increases as too much all at once.
