Will you be applying for the AGC and WSDOT Excellence in Contract Administration awards?

It’s that time of year again!

The 2017 Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards, sponsored by AGC and WSDOT is right around the corner. The awards, presented annually at the AGC/WSDOT annual meeting, recognize and encourage extraordinary achievements by the contractor/WSDOT partnership responsible for delivering transportation projects in a timely, professional, and responsive manner.

There are a number of categories based on project size and geographic location. The categories are listed as follows:

Eastern Washington

• Projects Less than $3,000,000

• Projects $3,000,000 to $10,000,000

• Projects Greater than $10,000,000

Western Washington

• Projects Less than $3,000,000

• Projects $3,000,000 to $10,000,000

• Projects Greater than $10,000,000

Within each of these categories, projects will be graded using 6-point evaluation criteria. Each evaluation point is worth 100 points for a total of 600 points. These evaluation points include: Customer-Focused Administration, Innovative Problem Solving, Overcoming Extraordinary Challenge, Effective Contract Administration, and Timely Project Completion and Safety.

To be eligible for an award, the project that you are submitting must have been administered by WSDOT and have most of the major construction finished.
